Garage Cafe - Berkeley Street Parkville

Although they don't serve brekky - this is an interesting place. Across the street from Melbourne University, in the middle of actual garages, is the Garage Cafe, a large open garage space converted to an Indonesian cafe, with some pool tables and video games on one side, and - get this- you just drive your car in past the pool tables and walk about 50 metres to your table. The food is pretty good and inexpensive, ranging from $5.90 for a vegetarian dish with rice to around $15 for something more interesting. It is different and definitely worth checking out (may be only open for lunch, not sure).
